Quinn Lazenby

ACTRA

Originally from Calgary, Canada, Quinn Lazenby (he/they) discovered their passion for performing at the age of 7 after watching Billy Elliot. Soon after, Quinn was prancing during gym class, and enrolled in Alberta Ballet’s professional school.

This sparked a career that includes credits in Murdoch Mysteries (CBC), SkyMed (Paramount Plus), Wynonna Earp, Teagan and Sarah’s High School (Amazon Prime), Everybody Curious, and Secrets in the Wilderness (LifeTime). Quinn’s theatrical credits include productions with Calgary Opera, Rainbow Stage, Theatre Calgary, and Front Row Centre, where they were awarded Best Actor in a Regional Musical by BroadwayWorld.com.

Quinn’s dual passions—for performing and social justice—have inspired their work on stage and in feminist and LGBTQ advocacy. During lockdown, Quinn taught workshops on consent and healthy masculinities to incarcerated youth through a program called WiseGuyz. In 2024, Quinn addressed the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva on behalf of Action Canada for Sexual Health and Rights.

Quinn finds the greatest joy in artistic projects that use storytelling to spark social change.
