Imaari Marcellin

M. Imaari Marcellin is a classically trained actor, singer, and dancer whose artistry bridges storytelling, movement, and music. Most recently, she brought Princess Tiana to life in the Mickey Mouse Storybook Adventure live-action show at Shanghai Disney Resort (2024–2025) — a dream role that blended her love of performance, heart, and imagination.

Her theatrical journey has taken her to stages around the world, starring as Violet Beauregard in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the Grand Theatre, Diana Morales in A Chorus Line with the Beal Musical Theatre Program, and Eva Perón in Evita at the Grand Theatre, among many other productions that continue to shape her creative voice.

Trained by Kim Oniell at Oniell’s Academy of Dance, Imaari refined her classical foundation before expanding her artistry at Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles and Phoenix Dance Lab in Shanghai. Her passion for dance has led her to teach, choreograph, and perform internationally, sharing her love of movement with communities across the globe.

Vocally, Imaari explores the depth of human emotion through Pop, Musical Theatre, R&B, and Gospel, drawing on diverse influences to create an authentic and soulful sound.

Beyond the stage, Imaari is also a music producer, engineer, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. She has produced and released her music on major streaming platforms — each one a reflection of her creative spirit and dedication to storytelling through sound.
