Karen, with her extensive background in performance and entertainment, brings a unique blend of creative and administrative expertise to da Costa Talent. Born in Monterrey, Mexico and raised in Oakville, Ontario, Karen discovered her passion for the performing arts at a young age. Her journey led her to Toronto Metropolitan University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Industries, specializing in Dance and Acting Studies and Film Studies.

Karen’s academic career was marked by a deep engagement with the managerial aspects of entertainment, complemented by her studies in business management, social media, content creation, and talent management. Her practical experience was further enriched during her third-year internship with Acorn Arts Project, a non-profit organization in Toronto. There, she was instrumental in overhauling their social media presence and outreach initiatives, demonstrating her capability to lead and innovate.

Joining the team at da Costa Talent, Karen is excited to leverage her diverse skills in her role as Administrative and Social Media Assistant. Her enthusiasm for the arts and her forward-looking approach make her a valuable addition to our agency, where she is eager to contribute to our growth and support our reach across the entertainment industry.
