Michael Prince is a Toronto-based dancer, choreographer, and creative artist whose work spans international touring, film and television, live performance, music, commercial work, and competitive dance. Known for his versatility, musicality, and dynamic performance quality, Michael brings a combination of strong technical training, individuality, and creative instinct to every project.

A lifelong artist, Michael began training at the age of two and developed an extensive movement vocabulary across hip hop, contemporary, jazz, ballet, partnering, breaking, popping, waving, ballroom, tap, musical theatre, freestyle, and choreography. His ability to move between styles and creative environments has allowed him to build a career as both a performer and choreographer across stage and screen.

Most recently, Michael performed in A$AP Rocky’s “Don’t Be Dumb” World Tour as a dancer, performing alongside one of the world’s leading recording artists in a large-scale international touring production. As a professional dancer and actor, Michael has appeared in productions including Disney Channel’s Zombies 2 and Zombies 3, Sneakerella, Bring It On: Cheer or Die, The Next Step, Netflix’s Feel the Beat, World of Dance, and Brilliant Minds. His stage credits include international performances with the acclaimed Swiss production Art On Ice, as well as numerous theatrical and contemporary productions. He has also worked with the Stratford Festival as part of a select team developing Romeo & Juliet, and has performed in multiple productions with Bridge To Artists.

As a choreographer, Michael’s work extends across music videos, live productions, film, television, commercial projects, and competitive dance. He has choreographed for recording artists including Ose, as well as for Immersion Room and the OTF SickKids Gala. In 2024, he directed, produced, choreographed, and performed in his original production Rise & Fall, presented in Toronto and Ottawa. He previously created In An Instant, which sold out in minutes in Toronto, and has continued to develop work that blends commercial movement, theatrical storytelling, and contemporary artistry.

Michael is also an experienced dance educator and convention artist. He has toured with Jump Dance Convention, Nuvo Dance Convention, 24/7 Dance Convention, and The Dance Awards as a teacher, demonstrator and guest performer, and has worked with Dancer Palooza in Los Angeles as a guest performer and assistant choreographer. His experience teaching and performing for dancers across North America has helped shape his ability to communicate movement, musicality, and creative intention to a wide range of performers.

Alongside his professional industry career, Michael has established himself as a highly regarded competitive choreographer and dancer. His accolades include Young Choreographer of the Year at American Dance Awards at age 15 and Senior Male Best Dancer at The Dance Awards. His choreography has received numerous awards at the highest levels of the competitive dance industry, and his creative contributions have helped Vlad’s Dance Company earn Best Hip Hop Studio twice, Best Hip Hop Performance multiple times and Studio of the Year honors multiple times at The Dance Awards.

With experience ranging from major artist tours and international stages to film, television, music videos, commercial work, and competitive dance, Michael continues to build a career centered around performance, choreography, and creative collaboration. He is passionate about creating work that is bold, musical, visually compelling, and emotionally driven, with a focus on collaborating with artists and creative teams across music, entertainment, and live production.
