Gilles Hammoud (he/him) is a Lebanese-Canadian actor. Born in Beirut, Gilles started his acting career in his middle school drama department and hasn’t looked back since. He is a recent graduate from the William Esper Studio in New York where he became proficient in the Meisner technique, along with supplementary classes that enriched his knowledge on the body, the voice, as well as the classical work of the art we all love today.
Straight after his graduation he made his New York theatre debut in Tucker Iverson & Ava Smithmier’s 107 Minutes in Heaven, as well as his first on-screen appearance in Andrew Pham’s I’m Withering, I’m Blooming.
Gilles’ career may be young but he hopes to continue to grow and has no plans on changing his relentless pursuit of truth in art.
