Non-Union
Imogen Ellegood is a dancer, actor and model born in Vancouver, BC under a clear November sky. Passionate, fiercely loyal and endlessly creative, Imogen brings a fresh, vibrant energy and genuine heart to every performance. Imogen joined Caulfield School of Dance in Port Moody, BC at age four, taking her first dance classes from Cori Caulfield herself. She quickly fell in love with performance, technique, and artistic expression through movement. Before long, her ballet, jazz, and tap classes were not enough to satisfy her love of the spotlight. By six years old, Imogen had a plan and was ready to execute. After convincing both her mother and a favourite teacher that the other had urgently requested a meeting, the two adults found themselves face-to-face in the studio lobby—only for Imogen to announce, “Great. Now that you are both here, I want a solo. Make it happen, please.” Her first solo, and perhaps her first production meeting, had officially begun.
Imogen has since trained extensively at Caulfield School of Dance in the Professional Training Division training under Kelsey Chace, Rachael Poirier, Tess Browning, Hailley Caulfield-Postle & Stewart Iguidez (aka Stuey Tellar). As an award-winning soloist in contemporary, jazz, tap, musical theatre, lyrical and ballet, she is often recognized by adjudicators for ‘lighting up the stage and embracing each genre as if she loved it the most’. Having won Outstanding Dancer Runner-Up, she recently took her lyrical solo to NYCDA Nationals, in Ponte Vedra, Florida in July 2026. Imogen is committed to her craft by continuing studies at Victoria Academy of Ballet’s Professional Dance Intensive with Andrew Pronger, Vancouver Ballet Society Spring Seminar with Mimmo Miccolis and Kit Holder and Team Canada Dance – Tap with Kristina Linden. She has earned a reputation for versatility, having an incredible work ethic, and being a joy to teach.
Dance is only one part of Imogen’s creative world. Her interest in acting grew during a production of The Nutcracker with the Royal Academy of Ballet, where she was cast as Clara’s spirited younger sister. Imogen looks forward to continuing her dance education while exploring new opportunities on stage and screen as a dancer, actor and model.
