Skye Mariko Gill

Skye Mariko Gill (she/her) is a 21-year-old dancer based in Toronto, Canada, who brings a relentless work ethic and a genuine, infectious energy to every rehearsal and production. Skye is focused on the future, eager to bring her unique point of view and adaptable nature to new collaborations across projects on stage and in front of a camera. 

Her journey started with sixteen years of competitive training at Canadian School of Dance, performing at American Dance Awards and Candance every year. In 2016, she joined the dance program at Canterbury High School, a pivotal move that deepened her technical skills and gave her the space to start building her own voice as a choreographer. To bridge the gap into the professional world, Skye spent 2020 training intensively at the CLI Conservatory under Teddy Forance, where she got to learn directly from some of the most renowned and innovative choreographers from across the globe. 

After several hurdles, her unwavering persistence eventually led to the opportunity to perform internationally on stage as a professional performer with Disney Cruise Line under the direction of Sally Bayes. Driven by a lifelong love for movement and an optimistic outlook on every challenge, she is excited to connect with new directors, choreographers, and creative teams as she steps into the next chapter of her career.
