Reid Friedl

Reid Friedl is a performer, choreographer, and visual creator with a wealth of knowledge in many forms of dance and art. As a 2014 graduate of the Victoria School of Performing and Visual Arts, Reid obtained his International Baccalaureate Dance Certificate. 

He is currently the director of ‘K.I! & Co.’, and a co-choreogapher for the BC Lions Uproar Dance Team, and is an alumni member of NXG Company, TwoFourSeven Co., and PARADIGM.  Reid is a staff member/instructor at Harbour Dance Center, alongside a plethora of other studios and institutions across the greater Vancouver area. 

Credits include Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies (Paramount+), Macklemore’s “Dance Off” music video, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist (NBC), commercial spots for Modelo, Frito-Lay, Nintendo, Expedia; Willas’ “Dreamers” music video, Fallen Hearts (Lifetime), and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (Netflix). He has worked for artists Trill Sammy, Kalin White, Trystan Laurant, Mikey Dellavella, Alexander Chung, and many more. Recently, he was a performer at ‘Carnival’ Choreographers Ball, as well as ‘EXcape’, and a curated guest choreographer for shows ‘Hatch’, ‘Soul Out Showcase’, Miss Vancouver 2022-24, and many others. 

Reid has started his dream to make an impact on the dance scene in a unique and artistic manner. His main goal is to bring his unique, multi-genre infused side of dance, and artistic-focused intentions to the forefront through his choreography, concepts and performances. Through teaching, he hopes to inspire, motivate and create a wave and generation of dancers who are unapologetically themselves, and unafraid to reach for their goals to become the artists, dancers, and individuals they dream to become.
