Leo Thomas

Leo Thomas is a Jamaican / Plains Cree actor fuelled by passion, curiosity, and an ongoing commitment to growth. The performing arts have been his space for exploration since he was twelve, and that early spark has matured into a craft centered on truth, versatility, and collaboration.

Leo has appeared in productions such as Virgin River (Netflix), Fire Country (CBS), Private Eyes West Coast (Global), and Stick (Apple TV) with Owen Wilson. He trains with Vancouver leading coaches James Kot, Beatrice King, and Claire Filipow, developing a process rooted in play, emotional honesty, and staying open to discovery.

Next to acting, Leo is an established dancer and choreographer, with credits that include The Vince Staples Show (w/ Moe Brody), Riverdale (w/ Heather Laura Gray), and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist (w/ Mandy Moore & Luther Brown). His foundation in dance gives him a physical intelligence, grounded presence & heightened ability to take direction both effectively and efficiently.

Raised by a strong single mother of two, Leo brings humility, discipline, and a deep respect for hard work into everything he does — qualities that continue to shape the artist and collaborator he is today.
