Kai Batycki

Kai Batycki (He/Him) is a prairie-born dancer, actor, and singer based in Toronto. Growing up in Saskatoon, Kai found his love for the stage at the age of four through dance and his very first musical Camp Rock Jr. He was introduced to the professional world as Michael Banks in Mary Poppins (Persephone/WCT) and in the ensemble of Elf! (Persephone). In tandem with musical theatre, Kai also trained in classical voice, receiving various accolades from regional, provincial, and national music festivals throughout his youth. His versatile dance training gifted Kai with a passion for storytelling through movement which led him to attend Sheridan College in their Bachelor’s of Music Theatre Performance program, where he was awarded Most Outstanding Achievement in both his First and Second year. Soon to be entering his third year, Kai has spent the past two summers working professionally out of term as an ensemble member in Crazy For You, Evita, and 42nd street with Drayton Entertainment. Kai is elated to bring his multifaceted passion for performance into the industry, and to continue training and learning from the countless talented artists around him.
