CAEA
Cara Pantalone is a Canadian actor, singer, creator, director, and theatre educator with more than two decades of experience across theatre, film, television, and comedy. At the heart of her work is a deep love of storytelling, collaboration, and the energy, connection, and spontaneity of live performance.
Cara’s performing career has taken her across a wide range of theatrical styles and genres. Her stage credits include Into the Woods, Cabaret, The Tempest, As You Like It, Measure for Measure, She Stoops to Conquer, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and The Full Monty. She has a particular passion for Shakespeare and has performed with Shakespeare BASH’d and the St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival. She loves the challenge of stepping into a character, finding the truth and humour within a story, and creating a shared experience with an audience.
Cara is equally at home in comedy and improvisation, having performed with Bad Dog Theatre and Comedy Bar. She brings a playful, instinctive approach to her work and thrives on the unpredictability of performing live.
Teaching is also an important part of Cara’s artistic life. For more than 20 years, she has shared her love of theatre with young performers, encouraging them to take risks, trust their instincts, and discover the joy of telling stories together.
