Hailing from Edmonton, Abbygale Chung brings over a decade of experience and passion to the performing arts. With a foundation shaped through six years of training with professional dance company NXG, and technical instruction with Shelley Tookey, Abby has built a versatile career spanning dance, choreography and film.
Her adaptability has led her to opportunities, such as touring with Gold Over America alongside Simone Biles and other Olympians, and choreographing for Atlantic Records on dynamic campaigns for artists like Ed Sheeran, Sia, Foster the People, Elyanna, and Alex Warren. Abby’s screen presence is equally notable, with roles in Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies as Lucille, and the Monster High live action films, where she contributed as a skeleton crew, chorus performer, and dance double. Her credits also extend to hit TV shows like Riverdale, So You Think You Can Dance and The Masked Singer Canada, as well as national ad campaigns for brands like 7-Eleven, Ford, and Honda.
Abby teaches internationally, with past engagements across Dubai, Guangzhou, Amsterdam, Vietnam, and Singapore. She is on faculty at Millennium Dance Complex and Movement Lifestyle in Los Angeles, specializing in Jazz Funk. Abbygale Chung’s driving force is her constant curiosity and her passion for discovering what more she can create. She thrives on evolving her craft, especially when the process is shared with the community around her. With each step forward, Abby seeks to inspire, innovate, and push boundaries in the performing arts.
