Liza Alabi

Liza Alabi (she/her), born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, is a dynamic and versatile dancer with extensive experience in styles ranging from contemporary, ballet and lyrical, to hip hop, jazz funk, step, and many more in between. With over 6 years of training and professional experience, Liza has developed a strong foundation in both classical and modern dance forms, seamlessly blending technical expertise with artistic expression.

A graduate of the Edge School for Athletes, Liza has worked with prestigious choreographers such as Gillian Abbott, Carlo Atienza, Prince Nii, Charmaine Loreine, Sabrina Phillip, Raoul Wilke, Shotyme, and many other incredible names in the industry. She has performed on stages across Western Canada and has a portfolio that spans across a variety of performances, including music videos and live shows, demonstrating an ability to adapt and shine in any setting.

As a passionate artist, Liza is continually pushing boundaries and exploring new styles to enhance their repertoire. Training across North America, in hiphop, contemporary, jazz, and partnering, Liza began to find passions in specializations such as house, freestyle, popping, vernacular jazz, step, modern, and tap. Whether dancing as a soloist or part of a company, Liza

brings a unique energy and dedication to every project.

In addition to performing, Liza also has experience in choreography and teaching, sharing their love for dance with students of all ages and skill levels at Edge studios. With a commitment to excellence and an unwavering work ethic, Liza Alabi is ready to bring creativity, professionalism, and passion to any project.
