Alessa is most recognized for her ongoing voiceover role as Medicine Pocket in Reverse: 1999, often attending events on and offline. Alessa has done work in theatre doing stage combat and singing as Ram in Heathers and has also used lucid movement skills to move as an alien in a foreign world and a monster in a Haunted House. Alessa has studied at The Stella Adler Academy of Theatre and Acting in Los Angeles, Second City in Toronto, The Actors Room in Vaughan, has attended several Larissa Mair Audition Workshops.

Originally having the artistic eyes of a director, Alessa walked on to a movie set, fell in love with acting and never turned back. Off-camera, she is currently developing an app that actors will be able to use as a tool with the new future of self tapes.

Alessa Maria-Dione is able to love the craft of acting as easily as breathing. “Creativity fuels the soul” is a motto she lives by. If she isn’t working creatively she is the type of person to then create work for herself. Alessa is still starting out but has so much room to keep writing the rest of her story in hopes of inspiring those who need a hand.
