Allen Rho is a South Korean Canadian artist born in London, Ontario. In 2012, he developed a deep interest in street dance and performance. His passion to learn and improve on his craft has led him to train in the dance styles of Breaking, Hip Hop, Locking, Popping, Choreography and Contemporary
movement. He has trained as a member of Motivating Excellence directed by Rhapsody James, The Male Initiative directed by Shavar Blackwood and as an elite member of Footnotes Training Camp directed by Andrew “Pyro” Chung and Mariano “Glizzi” Abarca. Through immersing himself into these companies
and the Toronto Community, Allen has been able to connect and work with many of Toronto’s best artists such as Shameka Blake, Hollywood Jade, Esie Mensah, Leon Blackwood, Mark Samuels, Marcelino “FrostFlow” DaCosta and Derick “Xclusiv” Robinson.
He has been featured as a dancer for large scale productions such as the Toronto Raptors North Side crew, the Toronto Argonauts A-Team, the HUM TV Awards, WE Day, Tedx and more. Allen’s involvement within the Toronto community has led him to perform in numerous shows and events including
Toronto’s Original Choreographer’s Ball, The Bazaar Dance Showcase, Fever After Dark and Articien Montréal.
Allen’s everlasting passion to expand and further develop his skills has inspired him to take his talents to the screen. Currently, he has taken an interest in the art of acting and has been featured in productions for Disney+, Netflix and Budweiser. As he embarks on his young career, Allen continues to dedicate his
passion for movement and performance as a means for personal development, creation and connection to the communities that surround him.
