Angel Wong

Angel Wong is a Chinese-Canadian actor based in Toronto. Once an aspiring singer, the better part of Angel’s youth was spent in dance classes and vocal lessons in order to hone her craft. Angel has trained at The Second City in Toronto, The Lighthouse Acting Studio and Raw Acting Studios. She has also attended various workshops within the industry which include but are not limited to voice workshops with Kim Hurdon Casting and acting workshops with Jules Casting. Angel continues to train while learning from coaches and fellow actors in order to improve her craft.

Angel was first introduced to the industry through work as a background performer and eventually graduated to doing full show calls as a regular stand in. During this time, she also received her first credits doing voice over work before transitioning her focus to acting with minor roles in Children Ruin Everything and Stealing the Sky (Beverly Hills Film Festival 2025 Official Selection & 2025 Oakville Festival of Film and Arts Opening Gala Film). Outside of television and film productions, Angel was selected as a voting member of the 2024 ACTRA IPA Bargaining Committee.

Cinema was a huge part of Angel’s life growing up, the representation of Asian actors on screen greatly shaped her confidence in her own abilities. Leslie Cheung, Kar Wai Wong and Maggie Cheung are a few of the legends that still inspire her to this day. It is thanks to the unwavering support of many that Angel is able to continue pursuing her goals. She continually looks forward to the next project and further establishing her career as an actor.
