Bongani Musa

Bongani Musa (He/Him) is a multi-disciplinary artist and creator currently based in Toronto. Born and raised in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, Bongani moved to small-town Saskatchewan in 2013 and recently relocated to Toronto to pursue his performance career

Bongani has always loved the arts and decided to pursue acting professionally in his early 20s. He is a graduate of the University of Regina’s Theatre and Performance program. His acting credits span theatre, film, commercials, and a radio play. Some of his favourite credits include portraying the leading role of Jamie in Catherine Bank’s Bone Cage (UofR Theatre Department) and playing the iconic Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet (Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan).

Also passionate about creating literary work, Bongani has been immersed in devised theatre and collective creation. He has been part of a few collective creation projects such as 4our with the UofR theatre department and Jack and the End of the World a panto with Dancing Sky Theatre. He is a passionate storyteller who is eager to continue developing his work and craft alongside other creatives.
