Lucca Campagnaro

Non-Union

Calgary-born and raised, Lucca Campagnaro is an emerging artist with his sights set on Vancouver’s vibrant arts scene. Driven by a strong work ethic and a passion for growth, he continues to pursue opportunities that challenge him creatively and professionally.

From a young age, Lucca explored a wide range of disciplines that shaped his artistic foundation. He spent seven years training in Hap Ki Do martial arts and dedicated time to gymnastics, developing physical discipline and body awareness. He later channeled this energy into the performing arts, where he found his true calling.

At 13, Lucca joined the Young Canadians under the direction of Susan Mensinger, marking a pivotal moment in his journey. There, he began intensive training in performance, dance, and vocal work. His dance education spans jazz, contemporary, ballet, hip hop, tap, and musical theatre. Alongside dance, he trained in pop, musical theatre, jazz, country, and R&B, as well as choral and ensemble singing.

During his time with the Young Canadians, Lucca performed at the Jubilee Auditorium and in numerous community productions. Eager to expand his skills, he pursued additional training, including the “Dance on Camera” workshop series with Louise Hradsky and Jeffrey Mortensen, which introduced him to film and commercial dance. He has also trained with industry professionals such as Edgar Reyes, Joshua Beamish, Megan Lawson, Jillian Meyers, and Dana Wilson.

Lucca further showcased his versatility during five seasons in the Grandstand Show at the Calgary Stampede under choreographer Angela Benson. He later attended Central Memorial High School’s Performance and Visual Arts program, expanding his training to include Latin, swing, vogue, West African, and modern dance.

After graduating in 2025, Lucca moved to Vancouver to train at Harbour Dance Centre’s Intensive Training Program under Moe Brody. There, he worked with choreographers including CJ Damaso, Chanel Lacasse, Alyssa Del Degan, Carlo Atienza, and Julia Bose, while gaining performance experience across the city.

Now based in Vancouver, Lucca continues to refine his craft and pursue a professional career in dance.
