Caroline Torti

Caroline Torti’s work as a choreographer, director, and creative director, has been featured in prominent arenas and theatres across Canada, the USA, Europe and Asia.

With her distinct eye in understanding and perfecting movement in film, and a powerful architectural approach to moving bodies on stage, she has a unique approach to movement that is deeply rooted with intent and effortlessly evokes emotion from the viewer. Torti’s choreography and creative direction credits include: HBO’s We’re Here, NBC’s The Umbrella Academy, Disney’s SPIN, Cirque Eloize, Art on Ice – the multifaceted live entertainment production in Switzerland, So You Think You Can Dance Vietnam Season 3; Heroes Reborn; The Canadian Country Music Awards; YTV’s ‘The Next Star’ and ‘Summer Beach Bash’, amongst many others.

Internationally renowned musical acts including Sam Smith; Melanie C (Sporty Spice!), Serena Ryder, Aloe Blacc, James Blunt and Emilie Sande have all entrusted Torti with creative work, while global brands Carlsberg, Calvin Klein; TELUS; Oh Henry; Luminato and TIFF are just a few of the commercial credits in her portfolio.

Most recently, Torti launched Hallowed Grounds, a global digital platform and production company. Under the Hallowed Grounds moniker, she has directed music videos for Canada’s Drag Race Winner Priyanka, budding Toronto artist Liz Lokre, and a 25 video digital content series for Hulu/CBC’s ‘Utopia Falls’.
