Cassandra Consiglio (she/her) is a dynamic performer from Winnipeg, Manitoba, known for her versatility in dance, singing, and acting. Enrolling in dance classes at just three years old at Ken Peter’s Dance Express, Cassandra quickly developed a deep love for the art form. Over the years, she honed her skills in tap, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and musical theatre, with the stage feeling like her true home from a young age.
Her passion for performance grew beyond dance, and at 13, Cassandra made her professional debut in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Rainbow Stage. This was just the beginning, as she went on to perform in four more seasons, including a standout role in West Side Story at 18, where she swung the original choreography. Her diverse talent also led her to collaborate with Mini Pop Kids and 5 Times Fun, recording and performing music while discovering her love for the camera, which eventually landed her a recurring role as The Toothchild on Syfy’s Channel Zero.
After graduating high school, Cassandra joined Disney Cruise Lines as a lead performer on the Disney Dream, Fantasy, and Magic, showcasing her talent on stage while traveling the world. Back on land, she joined the Western Canadian tour of Matilda the Musical, performing at major venues like Royal MTC, The Citadel Theatre, and The Arts Club Theatre Company.
Cassandra then made a move to Vancouver, BC where she quickly established herself in the local film, TV, and theatre scene. In her first year, she landed the role of Nancy, Kristin Chenoweth’s daughter, in Schmigadoon! and became the singing voice of Lime Chiffon in Strawberry Shortcake.
Other career highlights include Mimi in RENT (Rainbow Stage), Joan in Fun Home (Royal MTC), Portia in Something Rotten! (Theatre Under the Stars), Alyssa Greene in the Canadian premiere of The Prom (Dry Cold Productions), and Anne Margaret in the Canadian premiere of Teenage Dick (Arts Club). Most recently, she has starred as Ariel in Footloose (Chemainus Theatre Festival) and as Maria in West Side Story (CTORA).
Cassandra has now relocated to Toronto, where she plans to continue expanding her artistic horizons, challenging herself, and refining her craft.
A passionate, diverse performer, Cassandra brings an infectious energy and dedication to every role. Whether on stage, in front of a camera, or in the studio, she pours her heart into everything she does, making each performance unforgettable.
