Chantara Leistner is a 27-year-old award winning actress, singer, and musical theatre performer from Thorold, ON. Chantara from a young age, received first prize in Kiwanis Musical Theatre Performance, Public Speaking, and numerous nation wide singing and talent competitions all by the age of 10.

Upon entering high school, Chantara secured lead roles in school musicals and plays winning awards for her theoretical knowledge, and talent in both dramatic arts and musical theatre. Receiving first prize in the DSBN / Shaw Festival monologue competition. Chantara was also an active participant in chamber choir, concert choir, and jazz choir, having the opportunity to perform at Massey Hall alongside notable artists/groups such as: Kenny Rogers, Billy Dean, and Classic Albums Live. Upon graduation, Chantara received her OSSD with a DNA Arts specialization in Musical Theatre.

Chantara went on to continue her education at Brock University where she obtained a Social Sciences degree with a minor in Film Studies, gaining experience working in front of, as well as behind the camera. All the while working on stage with Garden City Productions, and Firehall Theatre performing in lead roles in the productions of: Godspell, RENT, and Spamalot.

Following post-secondary graduation, Chantara has continued her education and work in the social service sector / Mediation, all while continuing work in theatre and film: performing as a chorus member in West Side Story (in concert) with the Niagara Symphony Orchestra alongside Robert Markus as Tony. Performing as Deloris Van Cartier in the production of Sister Act with Garden City Productions. As well as directing and acting in local video projects.
