From London, Ontario, Chase Carrera Martin-Lee discovered a passion for performing at an early age. Beginning dance training at the age of three, she later explored modelling and commercial work before returning to dance with a renewed sense of purpose.

Chase trained competitively at Jo Read Dance in London, where she developed a strong technical foundation across a variety of styles, including jazz, contemporary, hip hop, lyrical, tap, acro, modern, and ballet. During this time, she cultivated a particular passion for contemporary movement and commercial hip hop, drawing inspiration from the dancers and mentors she encountered throughout her competitive career. These experiences solidified her commitment to pursuing dance beyond graduation.

Dedicated to continuous growth, Chase sought additional training opportunities through dance conventions and prestigious summer intensives at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City. There, she attended both the Pre-Professional Jazz and Contemporary Intensive and the Hip Hop Intensive, further expanding her versatility and artistic range.

Following high school, Chase relocated to Vancouver, British Columbia to attend the Intensive Training Program at Harbour Dance Centre under the direction of Moe Brody. Throughout the program, she trained extensively with an accomplished faculty, including Chanel Lacasse, Greer Williams, Carlo Atienza, Keiran Bohay, Julio Fuentes, Julia Bose, and CJ Damaso. Surrounded by a community of passionate artists, Chase deepened both her technical skills and artistic voice while gaining valuable insight into the professional dance industry.
