Emma Victoria Tagliabue was born in Toronto, Canada, and has always dreamed of singing on stage. At only 11 years old, she has held the title roles in two musicals and has numerous first place awards across many competitions. Her first appearance on stage was as Greta Von Trapp in The Sound of Music at age 5 and then in the same year as a Salon Girl in In the Heights, both full productions live at the Vaughan City Playhouse.

In 2022, Emma performed as Peter Pan in Peter Pan and Annie in Annie in fully staged productions at the Richmond Hill Performing Arts Centre. She has also performed as the Sea Horse in a full stage production of The Little Mermaid at the Bolton City Performing Arts Centre, and as the Narrator in Joseph & the Technicolor Dreamcoat. In June 2023, Emma appears as Isabela Madrigal in the fully staged production of Encanto at Vaughan City Playhouse.

Emma studies singing, guitar, piano and dance, and has performed in all of those disciplines. Recently, Emma has received first place awards and trophies for her singing performances at Take the Stage Music Festival, North York Music Festival, Toronto’s Kiwanis Music Festival. In May 2023, Emma received first place awards at the Star Catchers Dance Competition, and at The Luv2Dance Competition, where she also received 2nd Place Overall Performer and a Most Valuable Competitor Award, awarded for the highest scoring soloist. Most recently, Emma received 2nd place singing musical theatre at the Provincial Ontario Music Festival. Also, she was also invited to compete in the Rising Star Talent Competition at the CNE The Ex in August 2023.

Emma continues to develop her skills by participating in many high level workshops and training programs such as the Children’s Commercial and Improv Workshop with Gloria Mann & Phatt Al, 2023 Audition Prep Masterclass Series by JJ Dance Arts, Mini Pop Kids Boot Camp Workshops, and Senior Triple Threat Musical Theatre program and Voice Over Camp by Randolph Kids Performing Arts.

In the Fall of 2023, Emma began working in film and is excited to expand her on-camera, stage, and voice over work.
