Grace Butler

Grace is a passionate performer born and raised in Aurora, Ontario. She began her dance training at the age of 2, and has been dancing for 20 years! She earned her Honours Bachelor of Arts at the University of Toronto, minoring in Drama and Performance and having competed with, and choreographed for, the Varsity Blues Dance Team. Grace has trained diligently in Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Modern, Tap, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and Acro, with her exceptional talents in Tap having earned her the honour to represent Canada with the Canadian National Tap Team at the 2017 International Tap Dance Championships in Germany, working with Matthew Clark and placing 1st Runner Up. Grace also represented Canada with World Performers Canada in Tap and Contemporary at the 2022 Dance World Cup in Spain. She was the sole Senior Canadian Tap Soloist, placing 6th internationally. Grace was also 5th runner up Senior Soloist and Tap Battle Winner at Inferno Dance Nationals in 2019, wherein she and her team were the 2019 National Champions. Grace was also named a 2019 Candance Title Soloist, qualifying for the National Senior Miss Title Competition.
Grace has completed exams with the CDTA and R.A.D in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Acro, as well as Associate Tap Teacher training with the British Academy of Teachers of Dance. As a dancer, teacher and choreographer working with young dancers across the GTA, Grace emphasizes that athleticism and artistry are synonymous.
Grace was invited to train with former Radio City Rockette and Precision Dance Coach Rhonda Malkin at her 2023 Professional Audition Workshop in NYC, wherein she was able to learn from and train with current Radio City Rockettes in Precision Dance. She also took an acting audition technique class from Actress and Film and TV Casting Director Lisa London in Los Angeles in 2019.
Grace’s recent film and television work includes the role of Brie-Anne Kinrade in CTV’s “Paranormal Revenge”, in Season 1 Episode 1 “Love You to Death” which won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Original Music, Factual, Lifestyle, Reality or Entertainment!
Grace has been featured as an Actress, Dancer and Dance Captain in local productions of “Big Fish”, “Peter and the Starcatcher”, “The Drowsy Chaperone” and “Sense & Sensibility”and “West Side Story”. She worked as a Choreographer for Holy Trinity School’s production of “Working: The Musical”, St. Andrew’s College’s production of “We Will Rock You” and Pierre Trudeau High School’s production of “Mary Poppins”.
Grace continues to dance, act, teach and choreograph and is very eager to evolve as an artist this year!
