Grant Shivers (He/Him) is a Canadian-American actor known for his dynamic presence and versatility on screen. A former competitive athlete and proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Grant found creative escapism through drag, with film and television serving as the pinnacle of that expression. Inspired by the bold storytelling of directors like John Waters, Gregg Araki, and Luca Guadagnino, he developed a deep passion for character-driven narratives that challenge norms and celebrate individuality.
Born in Chicago and raised just north of Toronto, Grant initially studied Film Business at Toronto Metropolitan University before shifting his professional focus to acting. He trained at Alza Acting Studio in 2022, refining his craft and deepening his understanding of character work.
Grant is most notably recognized for his role as Spyke in Sweat Loaf (2024), where he showcased his musical talents by singing live and recording an original studio track, earning recognition at the Humber College Film Festival. He is also the face of the Kids Help Phone nationwide campaign, with a commercial playing during the 95th Academy Awards and Super Bowl LVIII. Recently, he worked with acclaimed director Larysa Kondracki on Peacock/NBC’s Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy, sharing the screen with Michael Chernus (Severance, A Complete Unknown, Orange is the New Black).
With a natural charisma, strong work ethic, and a growing list of credits, Grant is an emerging talent to watch as he continues to build his career in film, television, and beyond.
