Derek Piquette

I’m a dancer, director, choreographer, and teacher. I started dancing at 10 in Chicopee, MA, and by 16, I had won multiple National Titles and full ballet scholarships.  You may have seen me compete on on Season 12 of So You Think You Can Dance, finishing in the top 4 “Stage” dancers and performing for over 37 million viewers. I also toured with So You Think You Can Dance Live across 70 cities and  played the “Trickster” in Cirque Du Soleil’s KOOZA and competed on NBC’s World Of Dance Season 3. I’ve choreographed more than 450 award-winning pieces for shows like Dance Moms and So You Think You Can Dance and for projects on Netflix and JLo’s “It’s My Party” tour.  My passion is using my influence to inspire others through dance.
