Ira Nabong

Ira Nabong is excited to be making his debut with Mirvish Productions, as Young Simba in The Lion King. His recent credits include roles with the Magic in Moments Performing Arts’ (MIMPA) productions, including Aladdin in Aladdin,  Jasper in 101 Dalmatians, The Little Boy in Tuck Everlasting, and as part of the Vocal and Dance Ensemble. Ira is also part of MIMPA’s competition team, participating in various theater arts competitions across North America. He has received MIMPA’s Most Outstanding Dancer 2023 and Most Outstanding Triple Threat Performer 2024 awards, Best Junior Dancer at the Access Broadway’s 2024 competition in Pittsburgh, Best Junior Vocalist at the Access Broadway’s 2024 Dollywood Cup Series Championship in Sevierville Tennessee and Broadway Bound at the 2023 Shooting Star competition in Ontario. Ira is in 7^th grade at Good Shepherd Catholic School in East Gwillimbury, Ontario. Beyond the theater, Ira channels his creativity into various artistic pursuits, including drawing and calligraphy, takes jazz, ballet and tap lessons, and is a keen volleyball player. @iralorenzonabong
