Jacob Woike

Jacob currently resides in Vancouver, hailing from a farm on Vancouver Island, they have spent their career traveling and working all over the continent. 

Jacob made his professional debut in the 2015 national revival of Les Misérables. Ever since, they’ve performed in such companies as The Grand, Bard On The Beach, The Arts Club Theatre, Chemainus Theatre Festival, Western Canada Theatre, The Cultch, Stage West Theatre Calgary, Western Canada Theatre, Urban Ink, and Patrick Street Productions. 

Jacob has appeared in feature films and on television and streaming on Amazon Prime, CW, Netflix, Syfy, and Hallmark. 

They have studied with some of the industry’s foremost coaches and teachers in voice, body and text. These studies include voice and Shakespeare with David Smukler (Stratford Voice Coach, 9 Seasons), the faculty at the National Voice Intensive, Craig Thompkins, and Alana Hawley Purvis. 

Jacob loves to collaborate and uplift his fellow artists, and is driven to create honest and compelling work. Colleagues and friends describe him as generous, warm, driven, talented, and uplifting. He’s happiest in the company of dedicated artists and people who enjoy what they do.

When not performing Jacob is happy to be with their friends, family, and partner, and somewhere in nature.
