Jasmine Wallace

Jasmine Wallace (she/her) is a versatile and hardworking up and coming performer. Jasmine brings an authenticity and charm to every role she steps into, whether on screen or onstage. Jasmine is a mixed-race performer, her mother immigrating to Canada from the Philippines to be with her father of Scottish/Ukrainian descent. Born in Comox, BC but raised in Winnipeg alongside her identical twin sister and older brother with cerebral palsy. Jasmine carries unique life experiences with her that shines through her craft making her a well rounded actor. Jasmine does not shy away from new opportunities and takes advantage of broadening her horizons. She is a national certified lifeguard and national lifeguard instructor, private voice teacher and soon to be musician for the RCAF. 

Jasmine graduated with her Bachelors of Music Performance in Classical Voice from Desautels Faculty of Music at the University of Manitoba. Jasmine studied as a soprano under Valdine Anderson. During her undergrad, Jasmine worked as the Assistant Music Director and Music Director for the new all Filipino musical, Mabuhay! Filipinos Singing For Their Lives workshop presentations and performance at the NHL Jets Filipino Heritage Night game. Jasmine is an active member of the Winnipeg Theatre and Film community, trained at the following intensives: Actors Intensive  (Rainbow Stage 2021,2022,2026), RISE Musical Theatre Intensive (Prairie Theatre Exchange 2020-2025).  

Jasmine made her cinematic debut in the reboot of the iconic Christmas horror film, Silent Night, Deadly Night (2025). Jasmine has appeared in numerous provincial commercials for companies such as Skip the Dishes/Disney+, Manitoba Dental Association, Apprenticeship Manitoba, and American company Dairy West. Jasmine has also appeared in multiple music videos for local artists/bands such as Tyler Del Pino, and Encore! Jasmine recently performed in the world premiere of a new local musical, The Perfect Man which premiered at The Gargoyle Theatre. Jasmine is no stranger to large audiences as she was one of the regular anthem singers for the Manitoba Moose hockey games, singing solo at the Canada Life Centre, home of the Winnipeg Jets.  

When not in rehearsals or on set, Jasmine is constantly training at The Acting Studio Winnipeg focusing on scene study, taking dance classes and developing her voice in all genres. Jasmine is excited to join the Da Costa family and bring her prairie girl charm to the screen.
