Jason (he/him) is a choreographer/performer with over 30 years of professional work. Having started performing at the age of 5 in ‘The King and I’, theatre and dance have always been a huge part of his life. He studied dance in various studios in Toronto as well as at the acclaimed Broadway Dance Centre and Steps in NYC.

Jason created, directed and choreographed ‘HBC Music Awards’ and ‘A Love Story’ for Hillside Beach Club in Turkey as well as being creative associate for ‘Sozo – Colour Your World’. He also created, directed and choreographed ‘Come Together – A Tribute to The Beatles’ for the Segal Center in Montreal. He served as director and choreographer for the second companies of both ‘Casper’ and ‘The Mask’ for Bultins Resorts in the UK.

Jason’s work as a choreographer has ranged from ‘Jetson’s Space Blast’ and ‘Beach Blanket Bedrock’ for Paramount Parks, ‘Jungle Book Live’ for Creativiva, to the musicals ‘Legally Blonde’ for Randolph Academy, ‘Shrek’ for KWMP, ‘Annie’ and ‘Can Can’ for TUTS in Vancouver, as well as ‘The Wild Party’, ‘Debbie Does Dallas’, ‘Grease’, ‘Guys and Dolls’ and ‘Anything Goes’. His work on ‘Debbie Does Dallas’ received an Ovation Award for Outstanding Choreography of a musical. He was assistant choreographer for ‘Stage Fright’ starring Meatloaf.

He directed the concert productions of ‘Lorelei’, ‘Saturday Night’ and the Ovation Award for Outstanding Concert winning production ‘Sunday in the Park with George’ for Applause Musicals in Concert in Vancouver.
Jason’s work as a performer has taken him to many places across Canada including work with The Charlottetown Festival, YPT and 8 seasons with Drayton Entertainment, to London England’s West End in ‘Casper – The Musical’ written and directed by David H. Bell and in NYC where he was a part of Chet Walker’s (‘Fosse’ / ‘Pippin’) dance company, 8 and ah 1. Jason was also dance captain for Royal Caribbean International over the course of 12 years.

TV and film credits include ‘A Simple Favor’, the series ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘Taxi 22’, ‘Canada’s Got Talent’ and ‘Hellcats’ as well the movies ‘Sing’ and ‘Mirror Mirror’ starring Julia Roberts.
