Gregory Kendall

Non-Union

Gregory Kendall (he/him) was born and raised in Abbotsford BC, and found his love of dance at the age of 4 after having to accompany his mom to a local dance studio to watch his older sister dance every week. Since then, Gregory has trained extensively in numerous styles of dance such as Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap, Hip Hop, Breaking, and Stage.  His dedication and ambition sent him to Poland in 2019 to compete for Team Canada where he took home two gold medals and one silver medal.

In 2024, Gregory completed 10 months of Harbour Dance Centre’s Intensive Training Program, training under the direction of Moe Brody, Chanel Lacasse, and Greer Whillans. During this time, he was given the opportunity to learn from many different choreographers and industry professionals such as Megan Lawson, Jocelyn Peden, and Justine Gera to name a few.

Gregory started his acting journey four years ago at Tricities Film Studio with Lisa Durupt, where he fell in love with a different kind of storytelling. Since then, his passion for acting has grown immensely with focus on film and television. Recently Gregory made his commercial debut for BC Dairy/Alberta Milk where he had to cry and eat ice cream – an experience he’s very grateful for. Gregory currently trains at King Creative Studios under the guidance of Beatrice King, where he continues to hone his craft.

Gregory also teaches competitive dance in the styles of Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Tap, at the studio he grew up in where he hopes to inspire the next generation of dancers and to share his love for the art.  When not training or working, Gregory enjoys hanging out with his friends, playing games on his computer, listening to music, watching anime, and when the Vancouver weather allows, you can find him on the beach, swimming, playing volleyball, or longboarding.
