Kiara Marazzi

Kiara Marazzi is an ambitious dancer and artist from Toronto, Ontario. Growing up, she was captivated by Beyoncé’s performances and music videos, inspired by the power she felt while imitating their movement, expressions, and energy. To this day, she continues to chase that feeling, pursuing her childhood dream of dancing around the world with the same joy, confidence, and freedom that first made her fall in love with dance. 

Since the age of three, Kiara has trained in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, modern, hip hop, and musical theatre. She is an honours dance major alumna of Etobicoke School of the Arts, where she discovered a love for choreography under the mentorship of Colleen Friedman and the late Heather Saum. During this time, she also discovered a passion for acting, performing as a Character Artist in the National Ballet of Canada’s Sleeping Beauty. 

Kiara realized her potential after being awarded the Denzel Washington Scholarship to attend the Debbie Allen Dance Academy Conservatory in Los Angeles, California. Mentored by Debbie Allen, Karen MacDonald, Rasta Thomas, and Terry Beaman, she blossomed as a performer while attending master classes with Natalie Bebko, Ysabelle Caps, Phil Wright, Adji Cissoko, and Darrell Grand Moultrie. Performing in Debbie Allen’s Hot Chocolate Nutcracker affirmed what she had always believed to be one of her greatest strengths: versatility. 

Alongside her performance career, Kiara has explored creative roles across the entertainment industry. At 15, she worked as a Creative Consultant on Shay Lia’s Takuta music video, choreographed by Amanda May Wilson. She is currently a member of Kode Red Company under the direction of Jac Valiquette and a participant in Round 21.0 of The Remix Project’s Business Arts stream, where she is developing her skills in public relations and marketing. Kiara believes that understanding both the creative and business sides of the entertainment industry will strengthen her ability to build a lasting career as a performer. 

With a fierce work ethic and a natural gift for storytelling, Kiara has become known for her ability to connect with audiences and creative teams alike, and looks forward to bringing that same energy to every opportunity.
