Hannah Kohlman

Hannah Kohlman began her dance journey from a young age in Sherwood Park, Alberta, training extensively in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Contemporary. Seeking to expand her horizons, she moved to Vancouver after high school to train with The Source Dance Company under Joanne Pesusich, which served as the foundation for her professional career on the West Coast.

Since moving, Hannah’s dedication and passion for dance have driven her to immerse herself in the local community, training and performing with various Vancouver collectives and programs, including Quill Collective, Illustrative Society, Heealsoules, The Summit, and Thewayyoumove. These experiences have been instrumental in shaping her versatility, confidence, and artistic voice. Her professional credits include multiple Innovate Dance Film showcases and numerous live stage performances.

Hannah’s love for the craft also extends to leadership and choreography. She has explored creative direction by setting pieces for both The Main Event and the Emcore Showcase. Additionally, she is a weekly instructor for an adult dance company, where she focuses on helping her students develop solid technique, clear intention, and personal confidence.

Driven by a love for continuous learning, Hannah constantly seeks out new avenues for growth through travel, training, and creative collaboration. She balances her time in the studio with her academic pursuits, currently working toward a degree in psychology, and enjoys spending her downtime outdoors or discovering new local restaurants with friends.
