Laura Jones

Laura Jones is an actress, singer-songwriter, and all-around creative force. From a young age, she was drawn to performing—whether it was being in front of a camera, competitive gymnastics and dance, or singing in talent shows. She first gained professional experience at the age of 11 as a content creator on a popular YouTube skit channel for kids, where she spent five years starring in weekly videos. 

Since then, Laura has expanded her career in film and TV, working on various film sets and training with top acting coaches across Canada. Her favourite role to date has been in the feature film Dancing On the Elephant directed by Julia Neill and Jacob Z. Smith. She continues to refine her craft and is constantly seeking new challenges. 

Beyond acting, Laura has a deep love for singing and song writing. She is currently working on her debut album. When she’s not performing, you’ll find her at dance class, volleyball, painting, crocheting, or finding new creative outlets to explore. Having grown up in a small town in Nova Scotia, Laura’s curiosity about the world sparked a love for travel. She recently backpacked across 10 countries in Southeast Asia and Europe, immersing herself in new cultures and perspectives—experiences that now bring a richer understanding and authenticity to her acting. 

Driven, versatile, and always excited for the next adventure, Laura is excited to keep growing as an artist and to see where this journey takes her next.
