Madison Sekulin

Madison Sekulin is a passionate storyteller with expertise in singing, acting, and dancing. With a deep love for Musical Theatre, Maddie was hooked on performing from a young age. After years of community theatre, she had the opportunity to perform locally in the National Tour of The Wizard of Oz (NETworks) and the Youth Chorus of Annie and The Wizard of Oz with Drayton Entertainment. These experiences ignited her desire to pursue theatre professionally.  

A graduate of the Randolph College for Performing Arts, Maddie continues to train under renowned instructors and studios in Toronto. She remains committed to growing as an artist, always eager to learn and evolve in her craft. When on stage, Maddie intends to take audiences on a unique journey that leaves them thinking or feeling differently than when they entered the theatre.  

Maddie is excited to be performing in Footloose (Stage West Calgary) this spring. Most recently, she made her Panto debut with Dream Co Theatre as Fiona, the leading lady, in Another Christmas Carol: A Panto Sequel written and directed by Phil Nero. Maddie also appeared as Rose in Statistics: The Musical (winner of the 2020 Adams Prize for Musical Theatre) in the Toronto Fringe. This sparked her passion for new musicals, and she aspires to originate a role in the future.  

Maddie is known for her positive attitude, creativity, and unwavering determination. As a commanding performer on stage, she gives her all once she sets her mind to something. Maddie is incredibly excited about the future of Musical Theatre, with a special passion for Canadian work. She takes pride in sharing her love for the arts with such a supportive community and is eagerly looking forward to what the future holds.
