Maren Gosby

Non Union

Maren Gosby is a true triple threat performer from Fremantle, Western Australia. Maren’s artistic journey commenced at age 5 when she was enrolled at Dianne Woods School of Dance, and began singing shortly after in her grade 2 choir. Maren had her on screen debut as a vocal soloist on the Australian Telethon in 2013. However, in 2015, scoring the role of Jane Banks in Stray Cats Theatre’s production of Mary Poppins affirmed Maren’s true love for musical theatre. An art form that perfectly amalgamated her three passions: singing, dancing and acting out heartfelt scenes in the toy room with her sister.

Since then, Maren has honed her skills with 16 years of extensive training. She has taken courses with Australia’s finest institutions, such as Western Australia’s Academy of Performing Arts, National Institute of Dramatic Arts, and the Australian Performing Arts Network.

In grade 9, Maren was accepted into the Musical Theatre Gifted and Talented Program at John Curtin College of the Arts, where she spent the next four years developing all facets of her engaging performance quality. Through private vocal coachings in a variety of styles such as theatre, pop, and classical, Maren has established a unique and rich timbre, vast range, and impeccable sense of pitch.

As a dual citizen of both Australia and Canada, Maren moved her talents 18000 kilometres across the globe, continuing her studies at Randolph College for the Performing Arts (RCPA) in Toronto, Canada. Her most cherished roles include both Polly in “Crazy For You” and Juror #3 in “Twelve Angry Jurors” at RCPA, Velma Kelly in “Chicago”, Ursula in the Little Mermaid and last but not least, Lord Farquaad in “Shrek”.

With a deep love for storytelling and a commitment to pushing creative boundaries, Maren continues to evolve as an artist, making waves in the international entertainment scene and proving that true talent knows no borders.
