Maxime Gionet is a highly skilled and versatile performer with a diverse background in dance, acting, and choreography. Their experience encompasses film and television, including a role as Dancer/Dance Double in A Very Jonas Christmas (Disney +/Jessica Yu, Jamal Sims), as well as numerous live performances. Maxime has appeared as a Dancer with the Toronto Argos A-Team (Chor: LaToya Bedeau), Toronto Raptors NorthSide Crew (Chor: Shavar Blackwood), and Sauga City Dance Team (905 Raptors/Mariah Amber), demonstrating adaptability and precision across various performance settings. Additionally, Maxime has showcased their choreographic talents as a Dancer/Choreographer in the Toronto Argonauts Half Time Show (Toronto Argonauts/Barrie Dance Cons.) and as a Dancer in the SEEN Toronto Dance & Film Showcase (Dance Community Entertainment/M. Messado).

Maxime’s formal training includes private acting instruction with Camille Stopps, alongside comprehensive dance education in Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet and Hip Hop at esteemed institutions such as Barrie Dance Conservatory, Studio North Toronto and many more, under the tutelage of instructors including Derick Robinson, Carl Mandac, Shane Tubog, Jess Robles Neil Robles, Jac Valiquette, and Deion Rojas. Further training includes Hip Hop at the Monster Hip Hop Dance Convention with instructors such as Kassidy Bright, Robert Green, Keenan Rhapsody James, Kerrie Milne, and Jaja Vankova, in addition training at Footnotes Dance Academy.

Accolades include a 2nd place finish with Ie Crew, a Dance Scholarship, Top Soloist honors, and recognition as a Nationals Runner-Up. Maxime has also participated in Prelude Dance Competition, World Of Dance, and a variety of conventions, underscoring a commitment to ongoing development and competitive excellence.

Standing at 5’9” with brown hair and blue eyes, Maxime is fluent in French and possesses additional skills as a Dance Teacher, in Snowboarding, and as a DJ. Represented by Stephen Greig & Nicole Norsworthy at daCosta Talent Management, and an ACTRA member, Maxime Gionet is a dedicated and multifaceted professional poised to contribute significantly to a wide range of projects.
