Maxine Taon

Maxine Taon (she/her) is a singer, dancer and actor. Born in the Philippines and raised in Saskatchewan, her love for performing originated in music, namely piano and classical/choral voice. She then began her dance training at the age of six, competing in and studying various styles such as Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Modern, Contemporary, Filipino folk dance, and more. Maxine’s first opportunity to blend these passions arose in high school, where she discovered her love for musical theatre. After a period of study in another profession, Maxine has decided to pursue her passions, and is now continuing her training at Sheridan College in the Music Theatre
Performance program.
