Moses James

Moses James is a multi-faceted actor & dancer. He is most known for his strength, versatility, raw musicality, and intuitive movement. His training spans from dance studies at Julliard and conservatories in MA and New York City to parkour gyms and training at the international headquarters for Cirque de Soleil in Montreal.

Moses is the winner of the 2022 Dance Awards Senior Best Dancer Title. His professional training includes Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, Acro, Ballroom, and Tap with special skills in acrobatics, martial arts, and parkour. Moses currently travels to assist choreographers like Johnny Blaze, Lyle Beniga, Tucker Barkley, and Stacey Tookey at Break the Floor dance conventions across Canada and the U.S.

His most recent credits include performing a principle role in the musical Dancer, directed by Stacey Tookey, which received critical acclaim at the Toronto Fringe Festival. Other professional credits include principal roles in commercials for Manulife & McDonalds, roles in Odd Squad, dance credits in television shows like Canada’s Got Talent and Over-The-Rainbow, as well as voice-overs on Netflix & YTV.
