Rudy Laxamana

Rudy Laxamana is an actor and dancer from Mississauga, Ontario, who has been drawn to performing from a young age. His love for dance led him to join a Youth For Christ (YFC) dance team, eventually competing at the Regional Youth Conference (RYC), where the team won first place.
His passion for storytelling and the arts eventually led him to pursue acting, training at RAW Actor Studio and LB Acting Studio. Since then, Rudy has appeared in the romantic comedy short film Almost Cupid, which has been featured on the festival circuit. He has also participated in the 48-Hour and Sine Film competitions, with films he contributed to being nominated for Best Ensemble.
As a dancer and actor, Rudy co-created Baby, a dance short film about two people reconnecting after a breakup. The film carries a personal meaning for Rudy and its director, reflecting their own journey of reconnecting with their shared love for dance.
Outside of acting and dance, Rudy enjoys photography, videography, and video editing. He continues to explore different forms of creative storytelling, bringing together his passions for performance, movement, and visual media.
