Sadie Harper
Non-Union
Having grown up with parents as actors, Sadie Harper has had a love for the craft since she was little. She graduated from Queen’s University’s Media and Performance Production Program in May, which allowed her to immerse herself in performance, film, and music courses. While she grew up acting on stage, through university she discovered her passion for screen acting. With the youthful look of an ingénue, Sadie thrives in both dramatic and comedic roles.
Sadie’s acting courses include Micheal Wheeler’s course, Acting for the Screen, and Chick Reid’s course, Playing Shakespeare. She performed in Queen’s productions of Not Wanted on The Voyage directed by Craig Walker, Pirates of Penzance directed by Greg Wanless, and was part of Queen’s Players – a sketch comedy group. She also acted in multiple student films in lead and supporting roles. In April, 2024 she performed as Rosalind in As You Like It with Domino Theatre in Kingston.
As a classically trained singer and songwriter she has an excellent ear and musicality. She has performed in various professional choir engagements including the United Way Songs of the City featuring Measha Brueggergosman, and as a featured duetist in the Niagara Symphony Orchestra’s Christmas Concert. In April 2025 she was an artist in residence at CFRC radio which culminated in showcasing five of her original songs live on air.
Sadie is excited to be furthering her guitar skills, starting ballet training and pursuing acting workshops this winter.
As a child, Sadie followed her parents around the country for their theatre performances, often sleeping on the theatre cot backstage where her father, Jamie Williams, would read her bedtime stories during intermission. These experiences set the stage for Sadie’s lifelong love of acting. For her, acting isn’t just a career, it’s a birthright.
