Sam is originally from the small town of Yoho lake , New Brunswick. He started dancing at the age of three and began competing at the age of Nine. He received many awards over the years including: (Vocals) Outstanding vocalist , mark of distinction , and top 3 at the “New Brunswick provincial music festival”. (Dance) , Teen mister Candance , self choreography awards , and highest overall marks at Candance , 5’6’7’8 showtime, and Thunderstruck dance competition.
After graduating high school he packed up his life to pursue his career in Toronto. He attended “Randolph College for the performing arts”, where he played George in “The Drowsy Chaperone” In his final term.
After graduating Randolph, Sam began to train fully in dance for two years at Millennium Dance Complex Toronto with some of the best teachers and choreographers. He also received many opportunity’s during that time Including: Meeting Loud Luxury and dancing in a concept video for their song “Body”, Being apart of 2 pieces for the “I am Blake McGrath” tour, and finally working with renowned choreographer Matty Peacock for Billie Eilish’s Music video “Hostage”!
Aside from Performing , Sam also enjoys creating. In grade 10 he was inspired by a foundation called “War Child Canada”, Where he competed in a fundraiser hosted by them called ”Battle of the arts”. It was very eye opening and left quite the mark, so he was called to create and thats how his idea of “Peace Day” was created. It was an afternoon filled with guest speakers , skits , poetry , song , and dance! Peace day continued after he graduated and will live on as a very important day to him and his community . Sam is always wanting to grow his knowledge and love for world peace, learning the impact the arts has on it.
Sam has been grateful for every opportunity he has received thus far including his recent appearance dancing in Disney’s “Zombies 2”. He is motivated and excited to see what is in store for him next!
