SAG-AFTRA | AEA
Scott Palmer is a 2026 SOVAS Award Finalist and the 2026 Reed Award Winner for VO Actor of the Year — one of the most prestigious recognitions in the political and commercial voiceover industry. Celebrated for a voice that is conversational, bold, gritty, and real, Scott brings decades of stage, screen, and studio experience to every project. Now based in Canada, he is actively expanding his work into the Canadian market with a fully equipped professional home studio, Source Connect capability, and a reputation for immediate, 24-hour turnaround.
Scott’s career in front of the camera is as distinguished as his work behind the microphone. He trained as an actor in New York City with William Esper of the famed Neighborhood Playhouse, going on to appear on Broadway alongside Rex Harrison in Caesar and Cleopatra, Geraldine Page in Clothes for a Summer Hotel, and Elizabeth Ashley in Tennessee Williams’ Sweet Bird of Youth. Broadway led to feature film roles in Bee Season and The First Deadly Sin, and a thriving television career that included guest roles across major network dramas and a seven-year run portraying “Tim Sullivan” on The Young and the Restless under contract with NBC, CBS, and ABC.
With more than 20 years as a professional voice actor, Scott has lent his distinctive voice to hundreds of national and international projects. His commercial credits include campaigns for Ford, Pepsi, Delta Airlines, Caterpillar, Breztri, Dupixent, Mezzetta, and Arizona Tourism, while his corporate narration work spans leading brands such as Apple, Genentech, NetApp, WeatherTech, and Cyber Security. He has also worked extensively in the political arena, producing voiceover for Republican, Democrat, and Independent campaigns. Scott’s voice has been heard in movie trailers for titles including House of Flying Daggers and White Noise.
Scott’s commitment to craft has been shaped by some of the most respected coaches in the industry. His acting foundation was built at the William Esper Studio in New York City. His voice training has been guided by Tim Monich of Juilliard, Marice Tobias, and Tina Morasco — a trio of coaches whose influence is reflected in the precision, depth, and authenticity that Scott brings to every read.
Scott operates a professional home studio equipped with a Sennheiser 416 and Neumann TLM 103 microphone, Apollo Solo interface, Twin Finity 710 preamp, and TwistedWave recording software. He is Source Connect certified and available for remote sessions with clients anywhere in Canada and internationally. His studio is built for speed and quality — immediate turnaround and 24-hour service are a standard part of how he works.
