Sean Mendes

Sean is a passionate young and versatile performer with a deep love for music and the arts. Raised in a musical family, his journey began at a young age, starting piano lessons at four and quickly developing a strong foundation in music. With a natural stage presence and a love for performing, he has built a reputation as a talented musician and actor.

Sean has received numerous first-place finishes and trophies at vocal competitions, including the Ontario Music Festivals Association (OMFA), National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), and the Kiwanis Festival, in both musical theatre and classical categories. As a pianist, Sean has been regularly recognized for his talent, having completed his RCM Level 8 exams in both piano and voice. He was also awarded the Junior Piano Trophy at the KW Kiwanis Festival and continues to be a standout in provincial competitions.

In addition to his vocal work, Sean is a skilled actor, with his career taking off in 2019 when he joined the cast of Sleeping Beauty the Panto with Drayton Entertainment. He continued to build on his stage experience, performing in productions of The Wizard of Oz, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and the role of Stuart in Stuart little. 

He quickly made a mark for himself as a voice-over actor/singer working on projects such as “Thomas and Friends” singing the lead role, and doing promo work for “Paw Patrol” playing the role of Ryder.

Outside of his musical pursuits, Sean enjoys baseball, swimming, skiing, video games, and spending time with his dog.
