Sean Taylor
Non Union
Born and raised in the Toronto area, Sean (he/him) has a passion for storytelling and took his first acting class at the age of fifteen then put acting on hold. This passion simmered on the back burner while he gained priceless life experience and he continually paid close attention to what made for compelling performances on screen. A true renaissance man, Sean dove into his interests: he sang, played guitar, drums and tenor sax in various bands. Meanwhile, sports played a big role in his life from competitive swimming to football and now tennis, biking and skiing. He graduated from Queen’s University with an arts degree in English Literature and explored a diverse career from running his own photography business to IT projects to frontline medical imaging. Sean’s passion for acting came to the boil during the pandemic, returning to the front burner, enriched now, as he brings his breadth and depth of life experience to his roles.
His credits include a cheese commercial for a hand demo, and a TV role as lead investigator Lt. Lane Cadwell in Homicide: Hours to Kill (Cineflix Media, dir. Leo Sherman.)
Sean trained in on-camera and voice acting with Christian Potenza and is open minded, coachable and seeks ongoing learning from multiple sources. Sean is excited to develop as his career unfolds.
