Sophie (she/her) fell in love with the performing arts ever since she took her first ballet class at age 3. After that, she’s been trained in dance, vocals, piano and guitar. Some notable institutions in which she’s been trained for dance and vocals include, but are not limited to Royal Academy of Dance, Verdon/Fosse Legacy, Ballet Jorgen and Randolph College.

She spent three seasons with Canada’s Wonderland as a soloist and dancer. Selected credits include, 42nd Street, Holly Jolly Trolley, Cool Yule (Canada’s Wonderland), Unbelievable Believable (Twisted Dog Theatre), Unleashed (George Brown Dance), A Dispute (Randolph theatre), Swan Lake Waltz (National Arts Centre) as well as originating multiple roles with various companies (House of Jazz and Bad Hats Theatre) in Toronto and London, UK.

She appeared as the lead actress in “Could You Leave” . The film was a semi- finalist in the Couch Film festival, Lisbon Film Rendezvous, AltFF Alternative Film Festival and it was selected in 5 other festivals.

Coming from a multi-cultural family, Sophie is a proud polyglot and a world traveller. She appreciates learning about new cultures and cultural practices. As a firm believer in inclusivity, Sophie hopes a  younger generation of performers can see themselves in her and believe that they can be a part of the arts too
