Story Hui

Story Hui is a dedicated and passionate performer with a deep love for the arts. Her journey began at the age of two when she first stepped into the world of dance, and by eight, she had joined the competitive dance team, following in her older cousin’s footsteps. Trained in tap, ballet, contemporary, lyrical, acrobatics, breakdancing, hip hop, jazz, ballroom, and Latin dance, she has developed into a versatile and dynamic artist. Always eager to refine her craft, she regularly attends weekly private lessons, participates in conventions, and trains at various studios to expand her experience and skill set. 

Beyond dance, Story’s artistic talents extend into music and theater. She plays the piano and trombone and loves to sing. In 2024, she began vocal lessons to enhance her portrayal of Gabriella in her school’s production of High School Musical, set to hit stage in April 2025. Her dedication to performance has earned her multiple awards in both solo and group dance competitions. She thrives on collaboration and finds immense joy in performing alongside fellow artists who share her passion for the stage. 

Story has had the privilege of working with renowned industry professionals such as Tatiana Parker and Andrew “Pyro” Chung, gaining firsthand experience from performers and choreographers in the firm industry. She is known for her competitive spirit, meticulous attention to detail, strong retention of information, and unwavering commitment to excellence—qualities that drive her to always deliver her best, whether on stage, in rehearsals, or in her academic pursuits. 

As a school ambassador, Story continuously develops her public speaking and professional presence. She has been featured in school videos, calendars, and most notably, her school’s official welcome video, where she wrote and delivered her own script. Balancing a demanding schedule between academics and the arts, she has honed her discipline, time management, and perseverance. 

Outside of performance, Story enjoys swimming—earning her the nickname “Little Mermaid” at a young age—skiing, reading, and spending time with animals. She envisions a future deeply connected to the arts and continues to grow as a performer while exploring opportunities that allow her to merge her love for creativity and storytelling. 

With a strong foundation in dance, music, and theater, Story Hui brings energy, passion, and dedication to every performance. She is an emerging talent with the drive and determination to leave a lasting impact on the industry.
