Terry Arnold

Terry Arnold (He/Him) is an exuberant dance artist originally from the Caribbean Island of Saint Lucia. From an early age, he demonstrated a deep passion for dancing and performing, and his early training nurtured a strong technical and artistic foundation in Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Dancehall and Afro-diasporic styles through his hometown company of the Avad Dance Ministry. Through this training, Terry was awarded a scholarship to attend the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre Summer intensive in 2019, where his exposure to Horton, jazz, hip hop and other stress styles broadened his passion for dance.  

In 2022, Terry relocated to Toronto, where he completed the Dance Performance Program at Centennial College. Since graduating in 2025, He used his knowledge from the program to expand his performance experience across stage, film and competitive platforms. While training under the Movmnt Collective, led by Leah Totten, he recently starred in the dance film Purple Rain, which premiered at the Seen Toronto Dance & Film Showcase and also featured in their latest show ‘Mindscape’, which continued to develop his artistry through collaborative performance Work.  

Terry works to continuously refine his craft through regular hip hop training with the Doomsday Programme led by Paul Mula. Aswell as his participation in Conventions like the Vision Dance Camp, where he learned from commercial choreographers like Todd Williamson, Natalie Bebko, and Pauline Casiño, and was selected through audition to perform in Casiño’s showcase piece. He is also actively a part of the competitive team ‘Ie crew’ Whom he has competed at World of Dance New York and locally at Prelude Toronto. 

His performance credits include backing Deborah Cox in a performance directed by Hollywood Jade, as well as multiple live performance appearances for Canada’s Drag Race winner Virgo Queen. 

Though still emerging, Terry continues to pursue opportunities that challenge his technical ability and artistic voice. Known for his expressive performance quality, versatility across styles, and strong stage presence, he remains committed to growing as a performer and sharing his passion for movement with broader audiences.
