Tori Autumn Robertson

ACTRA

Tori Autumn Robertson (She/Her) is an artist, performer, choreographer and arts educator based in Tkaronto (Toronto, Ontario).

Robertson knew she was going to be a performer when her parents were asked to leave a restaurant because of her loud singing at the tender age of two! From that point on, she performed dinner theatre at her house to anybody who came over. From the homemade tickets, costumes, dance floor, microphones, and so much more, anybody who came to the Robertson’s to eat was sure to leave entertained!

Tori explored the competitive dance world for twelve years, receiving high recognition for her triple threat qualities. On top of this, she also performed in theatre productions where she portrayed roles like, “Velma Kelly” in Chicago, and “Glinda” in The Wizard of Oz. During this time, she further had the privilege of performing for grand openings and halftime shows, competing in an Access Broadway competition in New York, and traveling to Disney World to perform in their ‘Dance the World’ parade.

In 2023, she received her Honours Bachelor Degree in Music Theatre Performance from Sheridan College, after graduating from their highly respected 4 year program. Tori’s high level of versatility was accompanied by her professional training in ballet, jazz, tap, musical theatre, styles/hip-hop and modern. During her time at Sheridan, she trained under an array of renowned artists including Jessie Mueller, David Connolly, Jordan Laffrenier, Loretta Bailey, Suzanne Bennett, Tanisha Taitt, Darnell Thomas, Jeff Madden, Mary-lu Zahalan, Gillian Saunders, Derek Sangster, Genevieve Sermonia, and Stephen Greig.

Robertson is currently an arts educator where she is employed at an elementary private school as the Arts Intensive teacher. Her classes are fueled by her love for movement and music in the form of creating and putting together a musical with the students.

She is deeply committed to adding her distinctive voice to musical theatre and other realms, fueled by enthusiasm, dedication, and a strong commitment to her art.
