Right out of school, Alyssa was cast in the role of Mrs. Eynsford-Hill in Sharon Playhouse’s production of “My Fair Lady” – Alyssa knew it wouldn’t be the last (nor the first) time she’d be playing someone’s mother who was older than her.

Returning back to Canada, Alyssa made a memorable appearance in the Season 5 premiere of the TV series “Workin’ Moms”. Collaborating with Greg Carruthers, the Founder of EveryBODY on Stage, Alyssa had the opportunity to explore her dream role of Elle Woods in the musical “Legally Blonde,” showcasing her exceptional talent and embodying the character’s essence.

Her undeniable talent caught the attention of writer Matty Murray, who invited Alyssa to audition for the new musical “Maggie.” Alyssa’s talent took her to the renowned Charlottetown Theatre Festival, where she showcased her versatility in “Maggie” and “I’m Every Woman.”
